What does the Moon & Tide complication actually show?

The Moon & Tide hand displays the current lunar orbit position and corresponding tidal state. As the Moon orbits Earth, it creates gravitational effects that cause the tides. Our complication shows this relationship in real-time, so you can read both the Moon's position in its cycle and the general tidal pattern at a glance. Note that local tides vary due to geography, topography, and weather conditions—our complication shows the astronomical relationship, not location-specific predictions.

How do I set the Moon & Tide complication?

Each Earth Moves watch caseback includes a discreetly engraved web address that provides calibration references. Visit our Calibrate page ( at Earthmoves.space) to find the current lunar orbit position for your location, then use the crown to align the Moon & Tide hand accordingly. We recommend checking and adjusting every few months for optimal accuracy.

Can I swim with my Earth Moves watch?

Both the Oceanic and Copernicus models are water-resistant to 15 bar (150 meters). This makes them suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational water activities. However, we don't recommend them for professional diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before water exposure.

What straps are included?

Each watch comes with two straps: the primary strap (blue synthetic sail cloth for Oceanic, nubuck leather for Copernicus) and a supplementary tropic-style rubber strap for water activities. All straps use quick-release spring bars for easy changing.

Why do the watch go clockwise, not counterclockwise?

Seen from the North perspective it is correct that Earth rotates counterclockwise, Moon orbits counterclockwise, and Earth orbits Sun counterclockwise. However, from the South Pole perspective all is rotating and orbiting clockwise. We chose the south hemisphere perspective this time, we'll try counterclockwise in other future versions. When will the watches be delivered?

Each watch is assembled manually. Each timepiece has a unique serial number, marking its distinct place in the collection. The watches will be delivered from December 2026 depending on production capacity and time of ordering.

Yes.
